Nasal and Facial Aesthetics

Botox and Fillers

Botulinum toxin (Botox) is used for lines caused by the movement of facial muscles and for treatments of the jaw muscle (masseter). Fillers are used to adjust volume and contour in the face. The treatment area and amount are planned individually.

Who is it for?

Adults who would like an assessment of expression lines, a prominent jaw muscle or loss of facial volume, and who are found suitable for treatment after examination.

How does the process work?

  1. The face is examined; expectations and medical history are discussed.

  2. The treatment areas are defined and the treatment is carried out in the practice.

  3. You are told what to pay attention to afterwards and a follow-up is planned if needed.

Duration and recovery

The length of the procedure and the recovery period vary from person to person. This is discussed with you during your examination.

The information on this page is for general guidance only. Decisions on diagnosis and treatment are made only after an examination.

Rhinoplasty under Local Anesthesia without Nasal Packing

In this approach, rhinoplasty is performed with the nasal area numbed by local anesthesia. "Without nasal packing" means that no packing is placed inside the nose at the end of the operation. Whether the approach is suitable is decided during examination, based on the structure of the nose and the planned procedure.

  • Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)

Rhinoplasty is nose surgery that addresses the shape of the nose and, where needed, breathing function. It can be performed with an open or closed technique, and in suitable patients under local anaesthesia. The technique and type of anaesthesia are decided individually after examination.

  • Photographic and Computer-Assisted Nasal Analysis

Before rhinoplasty, the nose and face are assessed on a computer using photographs taken from different angles. This helps in discussing expectations and planning the operation; it is not a definitive picture of the surgical result.
